Tamara Taher has attained a Master’s degree in “International Studies (MENA Politics)” at the University of Turin, with a dissertation on “The Gramscian Intellectual in Palestine: an ‘organic’ link between political and civil society”. She has published an article about it in Gramsciana. Rivista internazionale di studi su Antonio Gramsci. At the moment, she is completing a PhD in “Social and Political Change” at the University of Florence and the University of Turin. Her research interests concern political and social theory, intellectuals, history, memory, decolonization and cultural studies, with a special focus on the context of Palestine. She has carried out workshops and research assistant experiences in Amman (Jordan). She is a native speaker of Arabic.
